Our Most Recent Project in Japan

Our most recent project was the successful importation of the first alpacas to Asia. We were involved in every aspect of the export/import including, development of the protocol between the two governments, quarantine in Chile, quarantine in Japan, transport, as well as, education on how to breed, birth, shear, etc.


We accompanied the alpacas through both quarantines, as well as, the 36-hour plane ride from Punta Arenas, Chile to Narita, Japan. (click to go to article) ( photo of "Hugo and Karen with Japanese caretakers" & " 1st alpaca born in Japan"
