Export and Quarantine Facilities

We are experienced in and offer:

Exportation/Importation of live alpacas
Full quarantine service at our family-run, on-site quarantine facility located 5 minutes from the Chabunco airport (Punta Arenas, Chile)
Participation the development of international protocols.
Successful transport of large numbers of alpacas by road, sea, and air. Although alpacas transport very well, we normally accompany them on long trips.
Education and long-term client support
Award winning alpacas of all colors.

Why Chile? The alpacas are raised in a habitat free from the presence of contagious and infectious diseases (including foot and mouth disease) that are found in other South American countries. Chile has worked hard to achieve and is proud of it's high standard of sanitary conditions.

Our most recent project was the successful importation of the first alpacas to Asia. We were involved in every aspect of the export/import including, development of the protocol between the two governments, quarantine in Chile, quarantine in Japan, transport, as well as, education on how to breed, birth, shear, etc.

We accompanied the alpacas through both quarantines, as well as, the 36-hour plane ride from Punta Arenas, Chile to Narita, Japan.

NOTE: The Alpaca Registry Inc. (USA) is closed; therefore we are not importing alpacas to the United States.
